Jennifer is a seasoned litigator who has handled a wide range of complex cases in state and federal courts, as both in-house and outside counsel. She is actively engaged in counseling banks, non-banks, and other financial services providers in connection with regulatory and reputational risks, and is frequently called upon to assist clients with internal investigations, asset recovery, and class action defense.
Growing up with a father in the real estate business and a mother in the computer industry has influenced Jen’s interests outside of law. Several years ago Jen earned her real estate managing broker’s license. While she has used it to help a few friends and family find homes, mostly it has lead to a nightly ritual of browsing the MLS to peruse beautiful condos throughout downtown Chicago. Meanwhile, computers and technology have infiltrated all aspects of Jen’s life—from using an app-connected meat thermometer to make the perfect roasted chicken, to running her home through lights controlled by her watch, a webcam to check on her dogs, and a robot vacuum that does the daily cleaning on its own.
